Statement from LNP Shadow Minister for Health John-Paul Langbroek

25 May 2017 11:46 AMJohn-Paul Langbroek

“Another day and another IT bungle under this “do-nothing” Labor Government.

"If it isn’t health payroll, it’s critical e-patient records crashing, sending the health system into meltdown at the Princess Alexandra, Lady Cilento, Cairns Base, Mackay and Townsville hospitals.

"Queenslanders can’t trust Labor to manage our health system when they can’t manage a simple IT security upgrade.

"Our hospitals are already buckling under the pressures of ambulance ramping and bed block and the last thing they need is for the system to crash.

"Patients waiting for critical treatment will be left in the lurch if this e-health system isn’t fixed immediately.

"Only the LNP will deliver better government for all Queenslanders."
